Review of the 1st Digital Recruiting Days

Finding the right job at the right company – in times of lockdown and lack of recruiting events not easy at all. That’s why we organized the Digital Recruiting Days for the first time last week.

At this 2-day online event, 150 registered students and professionals from the fields of computer science and engineering had the chance to get to know ALTEN in a variety of ways in several online sessions. For example, we were able to convince potential colleagues of ALTEN as an employer in a 1:1 conversation in job speed datings and application portfolio checks – and we directly scheduled the first job interviews. For all young professionals, but also for professionals, the soft skill seminars about “salary negotiation” and “interview training” were just the right thing to be prepared for the next job interview.

But the focus of the event was to present ALTEN’s project diversity and our daily business and to highlight latest trends. From agile project management to safety-critical software to artificial intelligence, from the semiconductor industry to medical technology – there was an event for each area of expertise.

Entertainment was on the agenda as well. On Thursday afternoon, the participants were able to compete against each other in a Fifa21 competition on the PlayStation and had the chance to win attractive prizes.

Our conclusion: We met great people, some of whom we hope will soon become our colleagues, and we further strengthened ALTEN as an employer brand. In this way or in a modified form, this surely won’t be our last online event in this direction.
