ALTEN exercise challenge 2025: A sporty start to 2025
From January 15 to February 15, exercise was doubly worthwhile with us – with the “Energizing 2025: EGYM Wellpass moves ALTEN” challenge
This voluntary, participatory campaign in collaboration with our partner EGYM Wellpass aimed to motivate ALTEN employees to get more exercise in their daily lives and thus improve their health. Whether beginner, advanced or professional, whether you prefer jogging, walking, cycling or swimming: everyone could take part and collect minutes of exercise.
The goal of the challenge? 12 hours of exercise and being active in one month
Colleagues from our various locations in Germany took up the challenge and exercised enthusiastically for a whole month. With over 988 hours completed, 5,595 km covered, and many different sports being done by all participants, the tracking devices overheated without question.

We are pleased to present you with the final results
Many participants hit the target, some of them by a long way, after just a few days of the challenge. Well done! This is certainly also because they encouraged each other to work towards the goal as part of the ALTEN Germany Motivation Club.
But that was not all: everyone who reached the minimum of 12 hours of exercise received a surprise gift, and three employees were randomly selected to receive additional great main prizes.

Here is some feedback from our participants
“As a new dog owner, I was motivated by the challenge to record the routes with Strava. I am amazed at how many kilometers you can collect just by walking and how fit you get. I will definitely continue to track my walks.”
Corinna Eytz, Hamburg
“I really enjoyed the movement challenge, and it was a welcome change from the daily training routine. I like competing with others at a sporting level, it motivates me and drives me to achieve my own personal best or to step out of my comfort zone. The opportunity offered by the EGYM Wellpass is of course also fantastic, because it allows you to try things that you might not otherwise have done.”
Enrico Müller, Coburg
Despite the end of Challenge, we are in good spirits and remain diligent in our athletic endeavors – the next fitness campaign is already in the starting blocks!
