ALTEN GmbH and iconec GmbH: A successful merger
In December 2022, the ALTEN Group, one of the leading international engineering and IT service providers, acquired iconec to expand its portfolio of digital telecommunications and IT services.
Today we decided to go one step further and merge the company iconec GmbH with ALTEN GmbH. This step means that we can offer our customers even more expertise from a single source.
With the entry in the commercial register on 24.07.2025, all contractual rights and obligations of iconec GmbH were automatically transferred to ALTEN GmbH.

As a specialist in the fields of telecommunications and IT, iconec is a strategically important digitization partner for the big players in the industry and thus a great opportunity for ALTEN to further expand its market share.
The combined expertise of both companies offers significant added value for our customers and opens access to a larger market segment and new innovative projects.
With unified processes based on the ALTEN GmbH model, we will create a simplified structure for the smooth running of everyone’s work. This step is a forward-looking development for all employees, as it opens new career and growth opportunities within the group.
