Your onboarding process


Within your first week, you take part in an introduction event, the “Welcome Event”, run by the People Engagement Consultants (PEC) team. This is where you meet other employees and begin to build your professional network. During your first year, managerial follow-up is part of your integration process, marked by regular progress reviews. ALTEN also offers a Buddy Program, in which you will get an experienced colleague as a buddy for guidance during your first three months.

Career management


Your manager will schedule regular follow-up meetings to ensure that your assignment is running smoothly. An annual interview is also organized to agree on your professional objectives, draw up a development roadmap and a training plan. You can pursue one of three career paths: Technical Direction, Specialist, Business Management.

We also regularly organize meetings such as the PEC-Consultation-Hour to discuss your career development and training possibilities

Our training program


To ensure the continuous development of our consultants, we offer a variety of in-house training courses. These training courses cover topics such as SCRUM, the basics of software testing, Automotive Spice and many more. For certain training courses such as ISTQB and Leading SAFe, our trainers also prepare the consultants specifically for certification exams, which they can voluntarily pass on.
