Make it happen

YOU…

  • carry out static strength analyses of various fasteners, brackets and bolted joints, which are used in the aerospace industry
  • model the systems with an adequate idealization and use meaningful 2D meshing and, if necessary, 3D hex meshing
  • carry out verification calculations for the screw connections using appropriate tools
  • check the models according to the specifications
  • create all necessary documentation
  • support the mechanical development team in implementing the optimizations from the calculations

Be our forward thinker

YOU…

  • have a degree in aerospace, mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification
  • ideally have some professional experience in the field of strength analysis and mechanical development
  • are fit when it comes to the use of Altair Hyperworks (pre/post-processor) and MSC Nastran (solver)
  • are familiar with a tool for bolt calculation (ideally Spacebolt)
  • have sound experience with CATIA V5
  • have knowledge of the ECSS standards and handbooks (e.g. ECSS-E-ST-10-02C, ECSS-E-HB-32-23_A)
  • have a very good command of German
