ALTEN GmbH awarded as “Top Employer Germany”

Since 2016, we are facing the ambitious conditions of the Top Employer auditing, which aims to identify the best employers. For the 6th time, we were awarded as a Top Employer in the category Engineers. This year we dared to make a broader comparison and faced the best national companies. It was a great success, because now we can be happy about the award as “Top Employer Germany 2022”.

For this award, we went through a multi-stage certification programme of the Top Employer Institute, which has topics of personnel management and strategy audited and evaluated by independent experts. In our case, the result was positive: compared to the previous year, we were once again able to increase our results and beat the competition with top scores.

“We are very proud of this award, because it confirms our continuous investment in the further development of our processes and structures and in the working environment of our employees,” says Marijana Geßner, Head of Human Resources at ALTEN.

She attributes the award to several areas where we scored well:

“We did really well in the areas of employer branding, onboarding, offboarding and career. We attach great importance to continuous and best possible employee support. All employees can expect that we always bring them on board and inform them about developments in the company – whether through monthly newsletters, company communications or videos from the management team. We offer further development options and, with the Career Committee, an evaluation process that regularly identifies selected top candidates for further advancement. It”s the first impression that counts? Yes, but even the last! To ensure a smooth start, all new employees receive supportive onboarding, which is made easy through digitalisation measures such as digital signatures or automatic e-mails for starting at ALTEN. And in case employees decide to leave, we ensure a fair exit culture and aim to gain valuable insights during exit interviews.”

The award is nice, but more important is the real commitment and loyalty of our employees.
